Friends get your alarms. Crew sharing is the deeper kind: share the boat itself, so it shows up in someone else’s app next to their own.
Every share carries a role you choose — full admin, monitor and control, or view-only — and you can change or take it back any time. Your neighbor can check on the boat without being able to open the water, and your marina password stays yours.
Weekender carries up to 3 crew seats, more on the higher plans. Invites go by email and the other side has to accept — nobody ends up on a boat they didn’t agree to watch.
Question for the room: what role would you actually give your dock neighbor? I suspect view-only covers more real cases than people expect — tell me where it doesn’t.
